Location:Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR metro and the surrounding areas

We don’t believe everyone belongs on every adventure. We believe everyone belongs somewhere.

Highlights

What do we mean by the PNW region exactly? It’s huge!!! Yep, WA, OR, British Columbia in Canada & Northern CA are considered the PNW. We’ve lived here 50+ combined years and have barely scratched the surface of all the beauty it beholds. So, being as that we only have 7 full days, we will be based out of Vancouver, WA USA (across the river from Portland, OR) & exploring a taste of the PNW in the surrounding areas filled with waterfalls, a volcano, mossy forests & a trip to the Pacific Coast!

Wild & Well: Pacific Northwest
8 Nights • Big Nature • Small Group • Zero Ordinary Days
We’ll explore the wild beauty of Washington and Oregon through forests, waterfalls, rugged coastline, quirky little towns, good food, unexpected adventures, and a few surprises we’re keeping under wraps.
You can expect:

  • :evergreen_tree: Big Pacific Northwest scenery — old-growth forests, waterfalls, mountains, rivers, and dramatic coastline
  • :hiking_boot: Moderate hikes & hidden gems — beautiful enough to make you forget you’re working your legs
  • :ocean: Coastal adventures — salty air, beach exploration, and a little PNW weirdness
  • :fire: Campfire night & cozy moments — because some stories are better told outside
  • :apple: Local flavors & PNW food experiences — with plenty of delicious surprises along the way
  • :clapper: Film, pop-culture & quirky PNW history — for the curious, the nostalgic, and the easily distracted
  • :compass: Unexpected adventures — the kind you probably wouldn’t think to book on your own
  • :joy: Games, challenges & grown-up field-trip nonsense — because adulthood is overrated
  • :sparkles: A few secret ingredients — some of our favorite moments won’t be revealed until you’re thereThis isn’t a luxury resort vacation. It isn’t hardcore expedition travel either.

It’s a small-group adventure for curious humans who want to get outside, laugh a lot, see some incredible places, try things they haven’t tried before, and leave with stories they couldn’t have gotten anywhere else.Come curious. Leave with a little more wild in you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is this trip?
Wild & Well: Pacific Northwest is an 8-night, 9-day small-group adventure through the Pacific Northwest. Think forests, waterfalls, rugged coastline, quirky little stops, good food, unexpected adventures, and a healthy dose of “I can’t believe we’re actually doing this.” It’s an intentionally curated experience—not a traditional tour and definitely not a luxury resort vacation. We’ll be exploring, laughing, getting a little muddy, eating well, and making memories together.
How much does the PNW Adventure trip cost?
The PNW Adventure is priced from $1,495–$1,695 per person, depending on your room selection. A limited number of rooms are available at the $1,495 starting price, with upgraded room options available for additional comfort, views, or a private en-suite bathroom.
Is this a retreat?
Nope! While the trip has some deeper intentions woven into the experience, this is an adventure first. There are no mandatory circles, forced sharing, or inspirational speeches at breakfast. You’ll simply have plenty of opportunities to reconnect with yourself, try something new, laugh at yourself, and maybe see life a little differently by the end.
How physically difficult is the trip?
We’d describe the trip as moderately active. There will be hiking, walking, stairs, uneven terrain, and some longer days. We are NOT climbing Mount Everest—but this also isn't a “get out of the van and take three steps to the viewpoint” vacation. You should be comfortable being on your feet for portions of the day and hiking on natural trails.
What happens if it rains?
We keep adventuring. :rain_cloud: This is the Pacific Northwest in October, after all. Weather may change our plans, but rain doesn't automatically cancel the fun. We’ll adjust activities when necessary and always prioritize safety. Bring layers and proper rain gear. Your future self will thank you.
What should I pack?

We'll send you a detailed packing list before the trip, but think:

  • Comfortable hiking shoes/boots
  • Layers
  • Rain jacket
  • Warm clothing
  • Comfortable everyday clothes
  • Daypack
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Personal toiletries
  • Any medications or personal essentials
  • A swimsuit, just in case
  • Clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty
  • A sense of adventure
Will I need hiking boots?
Not necessarily, but good, comfortable shoes with traction are strongly recommended. Some trails can be wet, muddy, rocky, or uneven—especially in October.
What about food?
We’ll be providing meals and snacks throughout the trip, with menus designed around delicious Pacific Northwest-inspired ingredients whenever possible. You won't be expected to survive on trail mix and granola bars. We’ll also have plenty of snacks available because apparently adventures require feeding people approximately every 14 minutes.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We’ll collect your dietary needs and allergies ahead of time and do our best to accommodate them. Please be thorough and honest on your questionnaire. “I forgot to mention I’m severely allergic to walnuts” is not a fun plot twist.
Will there be free time?
Yes! While we have a lot packed into the week, we don't want you feeling like you're being herded from one attraction to another. The itinerary is intentionally flexible so we can adjust for weather, energy levels, group interests, and those magical little moments that can't be scheduled.
Is the itinerary set in stone?
No—and that's intentional. We have a thoughtfully planned adventure, but the Pacific Northwest gets the final vote. Weather, trail conditions, group energy, unexpected discoveries, and opportunities we can't predict may cause us to shuffle things around. The goal is an incredible experience, not checking boxes on a spreadsheet.
Will we be staying in hotels?
We'll have a combination of comfortable accommodations and a more adventurous camping/cabin experience. One of the best parts of the trip is that we're not spending the entire week inside a hotel.
Will we be camping?
There will be one camping/cabin-style portion of the adventure, including time at Fort Stevens State Park. This is not hardcore backpacking. You will not be carrying your life on your back through the wilderness.
What if I've never done some of these activities before?
Perfect. You do not need to be an expert adventurer. Many of the activities are designed specifically to let you try something new in a supportive, fun environment. We care much more about willingness to participate than previous experience.
Will I have to participate in everything?
No. We encourage you to try new things, but you are always allowed to know your own limits. Our job is to create opportunities—not pressure you into doing something that isn't right for you.
What about alcohol?
This is an adventure-focused group experience, and alcohol isn't part of the trip programming. We're here for the experiences, the food, the ridiculous stories, and remembering what happened the next morning.
Will there be a lot of driving?
There will be some driving. The Pacific Northwest is beautiful, but unfortunately the waterfalls have not yet agreed to move closer together. We'll be traveling between different areas to experience a variety of landscapes and activities. The drives are also part of the adventure—with music, conversation, snacks, scenery, and probably some questionable singing.
What if I get tired?
Tell us. Seriously. We'd much rather adjust the pace, modify an activity, or give you some downtime than have you quietly suffering because you don't want to “hold everyone back.” Taking care of yourself is part of the adventure.
What if I don't know anyone else on the trip?
That's actually pretty common—and one of the reasons small-group adventures can be so much fun. You may arrive not knowing anyone and leave with inside jokes, ridiculous stories, and people you didn't expect to meet.
Are we going to be forced to bond?
Absolutely not. We prefer organic bonding over mandatory bonding. Sometimes connection happens around a campfire. Sometimes on a trail. Sometimes while trying to figure out why someone packed three pairs of socks but no rain jacket.
What happens if the weather changes an activity?
We have backup plans. Sometimes Plan B turns into the best story of the entire trip. We’ll make decisions based on safety, conditions, and what will create the best experience for the group.
What if I have questions during the trip?
Ask! There are no stupid questions—although there may occasionally be spectacularly stupid answers from the group. Your guides are there to help you feel comfortable, informed, and taken care of.
Is this trip suitable for someone who likes adventure but isn't “outdoorsy”?
Absolutely. You don't need to identify as a hiker, camper, climber, nature enthusiast, or professional granola person. You just need to be willing to get outside your normal routine and have some fun.
What's the most important thing I should bring?
Besides appropriate clothing and shoes? Curiosity. Come willing to try, laugh, explore, be surprised, and occasionally be a little uncomfortable. The good kind of uncomfortable.
What should I expect to leave with?
Hopefully some tired legs, a ridiculous number of photos, a few stories you can't explain to people who weren't there, new friendships, and the feeling that you did something a little outside your ordinary life. And maybe a renewed appreciation for how much fun it is to simply play.
