Our experiences are built around connection, adventure, personal growth, and shared experiences. While we strive to create a safe environment, adventure inherently involves risks that cannot be eliminated.
By signing this agreement, you acknowledge those risks and agree to participate voluntarily.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in a SALTZAH Collective experience may include activities such as:
- Hiking
- Walking on uneven terrain
- Swimming
- Surfing
- Paddleboarding
- Kayaking
- Snorkeling
- Boating
- Waterfalls
- Caving
- Transportation by vehicle, boat, taxi, rideshare, shuttle, or public transportation
- International travel
- Cultural excursions
- Fitness activities
- Yoga or stretching
- Cooking classes
- Other outdoor recreational activities
I understand these activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to:
- Slips, trips, and falls
- Drowning
- Changing weather
- Ocean currents
- Wildlife encounters
- Falling rocks or natural hazards
- Food-related illness
- Equipment malfunction
- Transportation accidents
- Illness or injury
- Medical emergencies occurring in remote locations
- Delayed access to emergency medical care
I voluntarily accept all known and unknown risks associated with participating.
Health Statement
I certify that I am physically and mentally able to participate.
I understand that SALTZAH Collective is not responsible for determining whether I am medically fit for participation.
I agree to inform the retreat leaders of any allergies, medical conditions, mobility limitations, or dietary restrictions that may affect my participation or require emergency care.
Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize SALTZAH Collective and its representatives to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so.
I understand I am solely responsible for all medical expenses incurred.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless SALTZAH Collective, its founders, employees, volunteers, contractors, hosts, guides, property owners, transportation providers, and affiliated partners from any claims, demands, losses, injuries, damages, or liabilities arising from my participation, except where prohibited by law or resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.
International Travel
If participating in an international experience, I acknowledge that I am responsible for:
- Valid passport
- Required visas
- Travel insurance (strongly encouraged)
- Health insurance coverage while abroad
- Required vaccinations (if applicable)
- Compliance with local laws
Personal Responsibility
I agree to:
- Follow all safety instructions.
- Exercise reasonable judgment.
- Respect local laws and customs.
- Treat fellow participants with kindness and respect.
- Avoid behavior that creates unnecessary danger for myself or others.
I understand that SALTZAH Collective reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, abusive, illegal, or significantly disrupts the experience. No refund is guaranteed if removal becomes necessary.
Alcohol & Substance Use
Participants are expected to use sound judgment regarding alcohol.
Illegal drugs are prohibited.
Participants remain fully responsible for their own actions and decisions.
Photography & Media Release
I grant SALTZAH Collective permission to photograph or record me during the experience and to use these images or videos for marketing, educational, promotional, and social media purposes without compensation.
